    Business New Entrant Forces
It is an extremely useful tool when determining the potential profitability for a new entrant in a particular industry. It works by analyzing five essential factors that influence a new entrant in any industry. These factors are classified as follows:Bargaining Power of Suppliers: This is the ease with which suppliers in an industry can influence the price of required inputs. It is determined by analyzing how many suppliers are there in the industry; how unique the product or service they offer is; the cost involved in switching from one supplier to the other etc. The fewer the number of suppliers are in an industry the more powerful they become in terms of exercising influence over the price paid their goods or services.Bargaining Power of Buyers: This is the influence that buyers exercise in driving down prices for the goods and services in an industry. It is determined by the number of buyers for the goods and services in an industry and the ease with which they can switch from one provider to the other. The fewer the buyers in an industry the greater i

Earn $100 for Every 10 Cents in the Price of Fuel
I’m about to reveal a strategy that has made thousands of dollars for my clients just recently. There are no “fool proof” methods for making lots of cash. There are however, methods that can generate more cash more quickly than you can imagine. I’ll also tell you the best time to take advantage of this opportunity.By now everyone is aware of the increase in the price of fuel. The price we pay at the gas pump seems to get more and more press coverage. That is because this is considered an extreme situation. Successful traders look for extreme situations. It’s a setup for a very profitable situation.OPPORTUNITYThere are a number of ways to take advantage of this opportunity. The way I suggest is to look at crude oil. Fuel is made from crude oil. On the commodity exchange (a place where commodities are bought and sold) every ten cents (dime) in the price change of crude oil equals $100. Why every 10 cent move in the price of crude oil equates to $100 deserves more of an explanation than I have room in this article. This is explained in detail in the Mon
I don't know how I ever did without broadband internet service. The amount of information I have access to is incredible. Any time, anywhere in my home, at the click of a button. I'm talking about downloading good quality Free video productions about science and nature, and several other categories, right on my computer. Free audio podcasts, and music, on my computer. I surf the web on my laptop from any room in my house. I recommend this freedom to anyone! So, how can you get broadband and even wireless internet connections in your house? It's easy, and you do not have to spend a fortune.

AOL has it's benefits, but one thing is for sure, it does not have SPEED. Any promise of faster AOL service is merely caching of frequently viewed pages, which simply means once a page has loaded AOL saves it for the next time you visit. This will make loading regular graphics and information faster, but new data and new advertisements will still take just as long, and it will not increase the download speed of video and audio content.

    Unique Selling Proposition, Explained
Dear Reader,So you have an information product and want to sell it online. But why should someone purchase your product instead of your competitor’s? How do you make your product not only stand out, but jump out, from the competition? You need to develop what’s known as a Unique Selling Proposition, or USP for short. As Robert G. Allen (author of two bestsellers: Nothing Down and Multiple Streams of Income) says “To catch the fish, you’ve got to design your own unique bait.”The USP is a special promise that you make to your customer; something that your competitor is not promising. This promise is uniquely yours. The promise usually takes the form of a short phrase (but can also be highly detailed). For example, Federal Express promises “to deliver when you absolutely, positively have to have it overnight.” That promise combined with the belief that the promise will be honored is what motivates the customer to purchase from Federal Express instead of from another overnight delivery company. The USP can be considered intellectual property

Website Optimization, Good Overall Optimization is Key
Good overall optimization, the right keyword phrases and quality content play the key roles in the success of any web design project. Link Popularity and Google PageRank are almost secondary for the overall success of a website. Here is an example. I recently took advantage of a free service offered by a competing SEO firm. It was for a Free Keyword Analysis. Sounds like a great deal, we charge $129 for the service and it’s almost a give-away. I wanted to see what they were offering for free so I inserted the URL of one of our clients, fkpfishing.net in the form, added my personal e-mail address and hit enter. When I received the e-mail results a couple days later (quick by any standard) I was told that the site's link popularity is very low and that it is not optimized for the keyword “float tube” as well as it should be. They also informed me that the site's Google PageRank is only 4/10.Link popularity of course refers to the amount of links that are around the web that point back to your site. I was told “there are only 192 sites that link to yours,

    Understanding Mutual Funds: Part III
Now you know what a mutual fund is and how it works from: Understanding Mutual Funds I & II. It's time to choose your funds, wether investing on your own or within an employer sponsored plan (i.e. a 401(k), 403(b), 457 or simple IRA to name a few). You would think that this would be the longest article in the series but it's just the opposite. By following a few simple rules you will be able to simplify your choices and be able choose a fund you are comfortable with. The first rule is to understand that very very few funds outperform the market. This is not like picking an individual stock and hoping to get high returns quickly. Even expert stock-brokers fail to do this most of the time. Mutual funds by design are supposed to lessen their risk through diversification so in most cases it's not feasible to expect them to outperform the market by leaps and bounds. However, there are funds that are consistent outstanding performers. For example, the Dodge and Cox lineup of funds feature several that consistently outperform their respective indexes. The se

I lived with AOL for a few years and finally discovered how I could surf faster for even less money. I think AOL's basic rate is still around $20 or $25 per month. My broadband service, through Verizon, costs about $17 or $18 per month (after taxes and USF fee, keep reading) and is 10 times faster. I've timed it. In my area, using existing phone lines, I can download 6 or 7 mb (that 6 or 7,000,000 bytes) in about one minute. Which means it takes me about 5-7 minutes to download a 5 or 6 minute video production, or 2-3 minutes for a one hour audio only podcast.

Why am I telling you all this? Because I hate seeing people spend too much money on internet services that don't offer the speed and quality that is available elsewhere. AOL can continue to charge that higher rate because AOL customers are willing to pay it, mostly because they don't understand how it all works, and that something else available, faster
